Hello, Mr. November!

I don’t know if you’re a birthday person, but I sure am.

I go on hibernation mode as early as a month before my birthday. It’s one of my oddities that most people find queer (you probably just raised an eyebrow). This is the time of the year when my friends catch me spacing out more often than usual.

Twenty-one has been such an overwhelming year for me. I’ve experienced high-highs and low-lows, peaks and plummets.  But overall, it was definitely an adventure; physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I was sad and lonely, and I was shattered. I lost myself, but I’m slowly easing my way in. I’m finally working my way through the mess, getting back on track, and rebuilding whatever was ruined. It’s been tough, but God has been really good. I’m rediscovering my faith and rediscovering myself. It’s a process, and I’m dealing with things one step at a time.

I’ve been spending a lot of alone time talking to friends about life and futures. There’s something about these one-on-ones that makes me feel at peace with everything that’s going on. I guess it’s because nothing’s more comforting than being around the people you know you can trust; the people who bring out the best in you.

Ugh, I’m such a sucker for roadtrips. So I went on two! Same place, different experiences.

Went on a daytrip with Denise where we sang our hearts out to 90’s songs.

Chilled at the best Starbucks in the Philippines (!!!), IMHO.

Flew paper airplanes.

And took a photo with a rainbow!

As if that wasn’t enough, I went on another Tagaytay trip (an overnight this time!) with Isa!

We pretended to be Flying Cockroach Warriors (we were so bad at it). Cockroach – 1, Team Twilight – 0

Acted really “poised” during our posh Antonio’s dinner.

Frolicked around. Got grass stains and ass pains. But loved every second of it. : )

Halloween with college buddies!

Where I dressed up as a butterfly-slash-fairy-thingee.

I also spent loads time with my best friends. I love being crazy with Kata.

My ultimate lunchtime buddy-betch, Sandy.

Felt the Starbucks Christmas spirit with her also!

Had some awesome desserts with Parridge and the Monkey.

And to cap it all off, received some warm and wonderful pre-birthday wishes from this group of lovely ladies.

Made my first ~birthday wish~, too!

I hopehopehope and praypraypray that it comes true. ; )

  1. Here’s to another crazy year! May we never be without friends. Trustworthy, loyal ones at that.

Again, I am sorry. I should’ve given you the benefit of the doubt.
