My room is home to a lot of books that I haven’t read. So this morning, I took on the task of writing them down on paper, just to make sure that a) I am aware of how many unread books I have, b) I do not buy books until this pile is done (or close to done), and c) I keep track of the titles I own (just so I do not buy duplicates).
Because I have multiple copies of Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger and Blink by Malcolm Gladwell (which I did not enjoy at all).
But in any case, I think that this is a good start (?) since I want to get rid of my backlog and start buying new books!
And save money by not buying books because I still need to finish the ones I have.
And buy other things with the money I save from not buying books because I also need other stuff in life besides books.
This puts me in a jam because I believe that one can never, EVER have too many books. And I think most of you will agree. ~HEHE~. But I also think that I need to be reasonable, so UGH.
Anyways, here’s a photo of my booklist (on paper). I have a total of 31 titles because I plan on doing some re-reads. Also, I hope my mother does not see this entry.
I am currently reading Paper Towns by John Green, and I am halfway through.
Ta-daaaaa. A delicious pile of books ready for the devouring.

NICE LIST. haha! Have fun, let me know when you’re done, have a lot more to add to that! 😛
IKR. It super lacks Graphic Novels. I saw Hush and Kingdom Come in Fully Booked! So tempted to buy the Batman Collection, also! HNGH. And Sandman. And I also want JS Foer’s Tree of Codes. Double triple HNGH.
Heh, I haven’t made a backlog list because it’ll take pages and pages of yellow pad and I’m afraid of what I’ll discover.
I have two other Don Miller books – “Through Painted Deserts” and “A Million Miles in a Thousand Years”. Will let you know how they are once I’m done.
The House of Leaves is…odd. I enjoyed it, but it can get a tiny bit dragging at times.
Wonderful! Let me know if they’re any good! I’ll probably borrow them when I’m done. If I remember. So you better remind me! I liked Blue Like Jazz because it’s very human. It’s not imposing, nor is it preachy.
I’m excited to start House of Leaves! Actually I already started a few pages before, but I got nightmares. Hehehe.
OMG!!!! I really open my mouth when I see those list of books that is still pending and you still haven’t read yet… I don’t read books that much, but I make it sure that if I buy a book, I will read them well atleast… except my nursing book which totally I dont read lol.. well Goodluck reading those books.. I hope you finish them all.. 🙂
